Australia Travel Market predicts no-frills flights to Oz within two years – 18 April 2007

Australia Travel Market predicts that no-frills flights down under will be launched within the next two years.

The price comparison site believes flights between the UK and Australia is the next logical no-frills route following on from Ryanair’s announcement it is planning to fly Transatlantic.

No-frills flights between the UK and Asia with Oasis already exist along with no-frills fights between Australia and Asia with Tiger and Qantas-owned Jetstar.

Australian Travel Market predicts the AUS $11 billion purchase of Qantas by Airline Partners Australia will see no-frills sister airline Jetstar take over a lot of Qantas’ routes.
