Canadian tourist train Rocky Mountaineer has made two promotions in its EMEA sales team.
Steve Harris is promoted to regional sales director for the region from business development manager while Sarah Revell, who joined in 2017 as training and sales account executive, takes Harris’ previous role.
Karen Hardie, vice president, global sales, said: “I am delighted we have appointed Steve and Sarah to their new positions. Since joining the company, both have shown enthusiasm, innovation and passion for Rocky Mountaineer. I’d also like to thank and congratulate the entire EMEA team, who have helped us go from strength to strength in this market and have helped us see double-digit growth year-over-year for 2019.”
Harris, who worked for MSC Cruises and Thomas Cook before joining Rocky Mountaineer, said: “We’ve had a great year in the EMEA market and I’ve worked hard with the sales team members and trade partners to ensure that business momentum continues. I look forward to seeing what the future holds.”
Revell, who has held roles at Club Med and the Four Seasons, added: “I’m really excited to move to this role and look forward to working with the many partners involved in with Rocky Mountaineer.”
