Exodus creates sustainability and community post

Kasia Morgan has joined adventure travel operator Exodus Travels in the newly created role of head of sustainability and community.

She joins from Big Clean Switch, which encourages people switch to clean energy suppliers.

Morgan and her colleagues will develop sustainability initiatives for the core business and the new Exodus Travels Foundation.

The foundation aims to raise £500,000 over the next three years – half of which will be donated by Exodus Travels – to support empowerment, education and environmental projects across many of their destinations.

Morgan said: “Through my work in international development, and my own personal passion for exploring the world, I’ve seen first-hand the transformational effect that responsible travel and the provision of economic opportunity can have in parts of the world previously blighted by poverty or degradation.

“I’m delighted to join an organisation and team who so clearly have sustainable travel at their heart, with such a long history of driving initiatives that directly benefit the communities and environment around many of their trip destinations.”
