On the Beach has signalled firm European growth plans by creating a new corporate development director role.
Adam Hansen is joining after 12 years at independent financial advisory giant Rothschild & Co, where he was global advisory director.
Hansen, who takes up the position on August 19, brings extensive experience within financial advisory, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, particularly within the travel and retail space, and typically in the UK and Europe.
He will focus on identifying strategic opportunities for the continued growth of the business – including deal origination, completion and integration – and helping to realise its vision of becoming Europe’s leading online beach holiday retailer, the company said.
