Advantage ‘hotel heroes’ to gather for tenth annual conference

Eighty staff who book business travel accommodation within Advantage member travel management companies are to attend the consortium’s tenth annual ‘hotel heroes’ conference.

Forty hotel partners are due to attend the event in London on September 18.

Delegates will get an update on booking trends for the first half of the year and a forecast for the rest of 2019.

The conference will include the latest information on the consortium’s hotel programme, training and support available to members, as well as a dedicated training app.

Advantage Travel Partnership head of supplier partnerships Julie Janzen said: “Our hotel heroes are the key drivers of hotel bookings made on the Advantage hotel programme, which globally books eight million room nights a year.

“The average annual growth in hotel room nights booked by Advantage travel management companies over the past three years was 7.4% a year.

“Hotel heroes are an integral part of our member TMCs recognising the importance of hotel bookings and offering clients a full service to meet all their accommodation needs, domestically and overseas.”

The conference is taking place at the Courthouse Hotel in Shoreditch.
