APT offers chance to see haka on New Zealand tour

Holidaymakers travelling with APT to New Zealand next year have the chance to experience the “full force” of the All Blacks performing the famous haka.

The traditional Maori ceremony is performed by the rugby players before matches begin.

Guests on the New Zealand Wonderland Luxury Tour will have the haka experience as one of the new included experiences – called Freedom of Choice options.

The All Blacks Experience in Auckland puts holidaymakers in front of an All Blacks haka, before they can try kicking, catching, line-out and accuracy skills against the rugby players.

The 20-day New Zealand Wonderland Luxury Tour from Auckland to Christchurch costs from £5,095 on a twin-share basis, including flights.

The holiday is included in APT’s 2020-21 New Zealand and Australia brochure (pictured), which also features a new wildlife cruise in Western Australia.

The cruise is part of the West Coast Adventure Essential Tour, and takes guests across Shark Bay, looking out for dolphins, dugongs and turtles on the departure from the beachfront resort Monkey Mia, in Western Australia.

The 21-day West Coast Adventure Essential Tour from Perth to Darwin costs from £5,995 on a twin-share basis, including flights.

The brochure also offers clients the final chance to see the Field of Lights in Uluru, as part of the 17-day Treasures of Australia Essential Tour, on departures in October and November 2020.

The holiday takes guests from Sydney to Melbourne and costs from £5,495 on a twin-share basis, departing September 2020, including flights.
