Christmas to come early for Hays Travel customers

Christmas will be coming early for many Hays Travel customers this year.

Santa Claus will visit 24 branches in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland on Thursday and Friday dropping off gifts including cruises, holiday vouchers and luxury hampers.

The star prize is a family trip to meet the real Santa Claus in Lapland.

Owners John and Irene Hays said they wanted to say thank customers for all their support following the acquisition of Thomas Cook’s retail estate which saw the business rescue 2,500 jobs.

The sleigh is fueled by #HaysHolidaySleigh posts on Twitter and Instagram. Each time the amount of posted hashtags reaches a predetermined checkpoint, someone wins a prize, and Santa sets off on his journey to the next branch.

The competition is open to all staff and there is no limit on how many times it can be entered.

Posts can be made on Twitter and Instagram accounts any time from 8am on Thursday until there have been enough hashtags posts to reach the final destination, and the family trip to Lapland is won.

Irene Hays said:  “We wanted to say thanks again to everyone for the tremendous support we’ve had and it’s great to be able to extend our festive competition to include everyone.
