Ex-Virgin Voyages sales chief takes up new role

Stacy Shaw has joined cruise line shopping provider Starboard Cruise Services to head up its new luxury division.

The former Virgin Voyages’ sales chief has taken up the role of vice president, luxury division and retail experience development at Starboard, owned by LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton.

Shaw left Virgin in August this year after two years with the cruise line.

In her new position, Shaw will look after Starboard’s portfolio of luxury cruise line brands, lead business development and identify partners in land-based luxury travel.

Starboard’s current luxury cruise line partners include Celebrity Cruises, Crystal Cruises and Silversea.

A Starboard spokesperson said: “Stacy’s career spans the luxury, premium and contemporary segments of hotel and cruise with experience in start-ups, small boutique companies, and global industry-leading vacation and lifestyle brands.
