Ocean Florida seeks ‘theme park tester’

Fancy being paid to travel around Florida riding rollercoasters and exploring theme parks?

Florida specialist, Ocean Florida, part of Ocean Holidays is looking to hire an ‘Official Theme Park Tester’ to travel across Florida and test rides and attractions.

The new recruit will earn a £3,000 salary for the three-week job with all expenses covered and can bring a friend along for the ride too.

The successful applicant will be expected to provide essential feedback on each park based on overall experience; quality and variety of food and drink; souvenirs and branded merchandise; suitability for families and couples; thrill factor for each ride; shows and displays; parades; and photo opportunities.

Job perks include fast passes and photo passes throughout the duration to ensure the applicant makes the most of their time and they will also be equipped with a GoPro camera to capture content and a Fitbit to measure steps and heart-rate.

Candidates are urged to get creative on their application and share which Disney character they would be and why.

Applicants must be over 18 and the deadline for applying is January 31.

Harry Hastings, co-chief executive at Ocean Florida said: “It’s an incredibly exciting opportunity, and truly is a job like no other. If you have a thirst for adventure and a passion for trying out new experiences, we want to hear from you.
