Self-guided holiday specialist Headwater has 15 new walking holidays and 13 new cycling tours for 2020.
Also new from the Travelopia-owned brand is a canoeing holiday in France and three cross-country ski holidays – two in Switzerland and one in Finnish Lapland.
To cater for rising demand for sustainable tours, it has four new walking itineraries in the UK, featuring Northumberland, Hadrian’s Hall and the Cotswolds.
Prices start at £495 for the five-night Walk Along the Historic Hadrian’s Wall trip, from Lanercost Priory to Corbridge, including B&B accommodation and luggage transfers between hotels.
There are also new treks in Ireland, Norway, Italy, Germany, France and Costa Rica (pictured).
The Costa Rica: Wildlife Walk costs from £4,185 including flights and a boat trip through the Cano Negro Wildlife Refuge.
For cyclists, there are new holidays in the UK – the Cotswolds, Scotland, Germany, France, Austria, Italy, Spain, Slovenia and Croatia.
The Austrian tour is the 10-night Sound of Music holiday, featuring alpine views, a castle and Salzburg, from £1,835 including flights, accommodation, bikes and luggage transfers.
The Swiss ski holidays are based in Kandersteg and cost from £1,065 for five nights, including flights.
The seven-night Lapland holiday is based in the village of Akaslompolo and offers the chance to see the Northern Lights. It costs from £1,099 including flights, breakfasts and transfers.
