Travel Visa Company sets up Schengen visa application for non-UK passport holders

The Travel Visa Company has created a new online application service for travellers applying for Schengen visas.

It will suit agents’ clients who do not have British passport but need to travel to any one of the 26 Schengen zone countries in Europe.

Daniel Hutt, head of operations at The Travel Visa Company, said: “We are bringing into one space an application process for any of the 26 Schengen destinations.

“Although the forms are similar, accessing these is another thing entirely [as] different countries use different systems.”

Keni Chan, head of sales, said there are about 100 nationalities which need a visa for travel from the UK to a Schengen destination, adding: “Giving the correct visa information and assistance can be a bit of a minefield for those that are not suitably trained, especially for applications as complex as the Schengen.”

The Travel Visa Company charges travellers £80 to check and submit their application, and also book an appointment at an embassy or visa centre, where there is another fee of typically £70.
