Tui cancels beach holidays up to and including July 10

Tui UK and Ireland is cancelling all beach holidays up to and including July 10.

Previously the company had extended the cancellation of its holidays until June 30,

All customers with bookings impacted will receive a refund credit.

Customers with a package holiday booked will get an incentive of up to 20% off to rebook with Tui, or can request a cash refund via the company’s online form.

All customers have been told they should receive their refund credit within the four weeks leading up to their original departure date.

Customers due to travel before the end of August are also be able to amend their holiday for free and do not have to pay the full balance until closer to the departure date as a result of the current travel uncertainty, the company said.

In a statement, Tui said: “We are constantly monitoring the situation and will start taking people on holiday again as soon as we are able to do so.”
