Tui includes Covid testing in St Lucia bookings

Tui is including Covid-19 tests on package holiday bookings to St Lucia.

The UK’s largest operator confirmed that everyone on package bookings for travel before April 30, 2021, made on or after October 22 2020, that requires a test will be given one as part of the price.

The company’s airline, Tui Airways resumed weekly flights to St Lucia from Gatwick on October 27, and will bring back its weekly Manchester-St Lucia service from November 5.

Holidays must depart at least seven days after booking to qualify.

Third party travel agents must apply for a code from Tui to use the offer for their customers.

St Lucia is currently on the UK government’s list of travel corridors, meaning those returning from the country are exempt from 14-day quarantine.

Its border reopened on June 4. Entry requirements stipulate that visitors must provide proof of a negative PCR test taken within seven days of travel. All visitors must stay at a ‘Covid-certified’ property for the duration of their stay.
