Escorted tour operator Newmarket Holidays has a new South African safari to its range of overseas trips.
The ‘On Safari in South Africa’ holiday costs from £1,699 including return flights to Johannesburg, seven nights’ accommodation on a full-board basis, and game drives to the Sebatana Private Reserve and Welgevonden Reserve.
The small group tour is based at South Africa’s Sebatana Rhino Lodge in the Waterberg Biosphere – home to more than 75 species of mammals, 300 species of birds and hundreds of different flowers and trees.
The operator is also holding a January sale, giving customers 15% off all long-haul tours and 10% off all short-haul tours and river cruises.
Richard Forde, trade sales manager, said: “Reacting to customer demand and changing market conditions, we are delighted to expand our range, enabling agents to offer their customers a wider choice.
“All of these new holidays are available online now and will feature in our new winter brochure, which is coming out very soon.”
Commenting on the sale, he said: “At the end of last year, we saw clear signs that consumer confidence was returning to the parts of the market, and while the latest measures will no doubt affect some consumers’ buying decisions, we remain committed to offering agents the best suite of offers possible to secure bookings where there is demand.
“We’ve created this offer to help stimulate sales for 2021 but also customers can get a great deal for holidays departing in 2022 when prices and demand is sure to be high.”
Recently added new UK options include a Beatles-themed break in Liverpool, a tour of Kent’s historic Cinque Ports, a Highland safari in Scotland and three-night trips to Belfast, Dublin and Glasgow to see Andre Rieu, the ‘King of the Waltz’, in concert.
