Glamour model and reality TV star Danielle Lloyd has joined InteleTravel – and been warned against recruiting others to the group.
She has started a dedicated Instagram page, @jetsetwithdaniellelloyd, which is linked to from her personal account that boasts more than 500,000 followers.
Lloyd has posted pictures of Ibiza, in Spain; Ko Tao in Thailand; and Dubai, UAE. The account has also posted pictures of the Disney castle and an offer for 10 nights in Cancun, Mexico. Viewers are asked to contact her for more information.
An InteleTravel spokesperson said the firm was “very happy” that Lloyd has joined, adding: “Everybody should be able to sell travel.”
But Lloyd has been warned against using the page to recruit others to InteleTravel. The firm has consistently denied accusation of it being a pyramid-style scheme, noting that its recruitment arm, PlanNet Marketing, is a separate company.
There is no link on Lloyd’s page PlanNet Marketing, but her page says she is “booking dream destinations and helping people earn through their love of travel”.
In an earlier post, she said: “Whether it’s a new career you’re looking for, a second income or just to benefit for yourself or your families travels… this business lets you earn around your other commitments, your family, with no targets, no contracts and in something we all do… TRAVEL!!!!”
The InteleTravel spokesperson said the posts were a “violation of her agreement, and she has been told that”.
“The two businesses are separate,” he added. “If you are an agent you shouldn’t be trying to recruit other agents. That’s been pointed out to her [Danielle Lloyd].”
