Gray Dawes Holidays joins Advantage Managed Services

The luxury holiday arm of business travel firm Gray Dawes Group has joined Advantage Managed Services (AMS).

Gray Dawes Holidays will become part of the AMS trust account service to provide additional customer protection.

Clients will receive automatically generated documentation including booking confirmations, invoices/receipts, balance due letters, ticket documentation letters and welcome home letters to helps to make the booking a seamless process.

This will allow Gray Dawes consultants to concentrate on offering holiday suggestions, advice and customer service.

Set up in 2009, AMS includes a growing number of leisure and business travel agent owners across the UK, who collectively turnover more than £100 million a year.

Advantage has negotiated the best commercial terms with its 150-plus suppliers, allowing members to maximise income and increase their employees’ earning potential, as well as giving Gray Dawes access to exclusive incentives, fam trips and training.

The core basis of the scheme is to significantly reduce business costs and take away the tiresome administration of running a business.

It will enable Gray Dawes Holidays to concentrate on building profitability through targeted sales and marketing activity.

Gray Dawes chief executive  Suzanne Hornersaid: “As we grow our leisure travel business under the Gray Dawes Holidays brand, we see clear benefits to aligning with Advantage Managed Services.

“We have been Advantage members for many years through our business travel brand, but their obvious leisure knowledge is so strongly recognised in the market, it makes sense for us to extend that membership to holiday travel as well.”

Head of events and leisure operations Lesley Tyler added: “The system ensures the administration side of booking a holiday is second to none, which gives our staff the opportunity to research and offer the very best deals and ideas around each individual holiday.

“Membership of AMS means we’re able to give greater financial protection for our holiday customers while receiving fantastic support for our leisure travel business.”

Advantage head of business development David Moonsaid: “Gray Dawes Holidays will be benefitting from our trust account arrangement, which is overseen by independent trustees, meaning all consumer monies are fully protected. Advantage will take care of licensing, merchant facilities and supplier payments enabling GDH to concentrate on the sales and marketing aspects of their business.”
