It’s been a trying year but the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority has so much optimism for what the next weeks and months will hold. The support we have received from the trade and the travel industry has been truly humbling and we look forward to continuing and strengthening these relationships and partnerships as international travel, once again, resumes.

This year we are turning our attentions to debunking Antigua’s seasonality and catering for the UK’s summer holidays. With 365 beaches, beautiful weather and some of the Caribbean’s most delicious food, we hope UK travellers will find a much-needed respite on our islands. Health and wellbeing are huge focuses for the islands for 2021, and health, safety and hygiene is an intrinsic part of the travel experience. The tourism authority has worked with partners on the island and we now have over 350 properties, over 40 tours and over 40 restaurants that are fully certified.

Strict measures are still in place; a PCR test is required to be taken no more than seven days before departure and our hotels are offering antigen testing on property.

We look forward to the day UK travellers can visit again.
