Arabian Travel Market honours exhibitors’ stand designs

Saudia airline’s futuristic three-level exhibition at Arabian Travel Market was named best stand at the annual trade show in Dubai last week.

The stand scooped the People’s Choice Award, voted for by delegates, and the Best Stand Design award, decided by a judging panel made up of independent experts.

This year’s four-day ATM saw the attendee and exhibitor numbers double on last year to 30,000 while 1,500 exhibitors from 150 countries attended to meet with trade partners.

Danielle Curtis, Middle East exhibition director at ATM, said: “Arabian Travel Market is once again proud to celebrate the best of exhibition stand design and event experiences with the return of the Best Stand Awards.

“A common theme highlighted throughout the exhibition halls this year was the ability to create an immersive experience that offers an engaging and imaginative look into the company’s products and services.”

The award for Best Stand for Doing Business was awarded to Jumeirah International. Runners up in this category included Turkish Airlines, Ras Al Khaimah and Al Mousa.

Judges selected the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi stand for Best Stand Feature while the Dubai Tourism, Saudi Tourism Authority and Emaar Hospitality Group stands were highly commended.

The Best New Stand award went to Ishraq Hospitality, a developer that was making its debut at the show, for its wooden design reminiscent of a desert landscape. Best ATM Travel Tech Stand, went to TBS/Vbooking for its innovative design and immersive metaverse experience.
