Jet2 expands ski routes from Bristol

Jet2.com will expand its ski services this Easter, including the addition of a new route from Bristol airport to Geneva in response to “strong demand”.

The new Bristol route will have weekly Saturday services, operating from April 2 to April 16.

The addition of flights to Geneva means Jet2 will operate to four ski destinations from Bristol. It already serves Chambery, Innsbruck and Salzburg from the base.

The announcement follows confirmation from the Swiss government that pre-arrival testing is no longer required for those vaccinated. Jet2 had already expanded its Geneva flights from Birmingham, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Manchester and Stansted this week.

Steve Heapy, chief executive of airline Jet2.com and sister tour operator Jet2holidays, said: “Our ski flights to Chambery, Innsbruck and Salzburg that we have on sale this winter from Bristol are looking extremely popular, and it is obvious that snow sports fans want to make the ski season last for as long as possible too.”

“In response to that, we are expanding our Easter ski programme from Bristol and launching a brand-new route to Geneva so customers have even more choice when it comes to hitting the best slopes in Europe. With our ski flights restarting to Chambery from Bristol this weekend too, we are looking ahead to a very popular and successful ski season.”

Jet2.com is offering 10% off all ski flights on bookings made by February 7.
