Nouvelair to restart Tunis flights in March

Nouvelair is to relaunch regular flights to Tunisia from Gatwick and Manchester from March 2022 following the easing of travel restrictions.

The privately-owned Tunisian airline first started flights in July 2021, but they were suspended shortly afterwards due to UK government restrictions.

The airline confirmed it would restart flights to Tunis on its fleet of 10 Airbus A320s from March 29, with two weekly services from Manchester, on Wednesday and Sunday, and three from Gatwick on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Carl Denton, UK sales representative, said: “After being restricted to a limited programme in 2021, we are very excited to restart operations again for 2022, with an expanded operation which will provide great access for holidays, business and most importantly to allow friends and families to reconnect with Tunisia again.”

Seats will be available via GDS and on the nouvelair.com with three price options, from a basic cabin baggage-only option to fully flexible, bags and pre-seating included option.

Nouvelair said it would “provide seat capacity to tour operators, OTA and travel agents in addition to direct sales.
