Riviera adds Qatar Airways flights to South Africa programme

Riviera Travel has added flights with Qatar Airways to South Africa for its 2022 escorted touring holidays to the country.

Return flights are now available with the airline from Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester, Edinburgh or Dublin. Flights on both legs make a connecting stop at Doha.

To mark the announcement, all trade South Africa bookings made in in March and April will be entered into a draw for agents to win one of four £100 John Lewis vouchers.

A pair of business class flights to South Africa, worth £2,000 per person, are also available for two prize-winning customers.

Currently, all Riviera flights to South Africa are only from Heathrow.

The new flight choices are available at the same price or less, with a business option at a supplement of £2,000 from Heathrow and Manchester.

Qatar Airways has 24 weekly flights to Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban.

Riviera Travel offers a 16-day tour to South Africa, with 11 departures in 2022.

The tour includes a full-day safari in Kruger National Park, a stay in the Western Cape’s Winelands, and three nights in Cape Town.

It costs from £2,299, including flights.

Tom Morgan, Riviera’s head of trade UK & Ireland, said: “With Qatar Airways offering such competitive prices, and agents in with a chance of winning £100 of John Lewis vouchers, now is the perfect time to set your customers’ sights on a South African adventure.”
