NCL unveils details of first Prima-class ship

Norwegian Cruise Line has unveiled ‘teaser’ details of the first of six vessels planned in a new category called Prima Class.

Its 3,215-passenger vessel Norwegian Prima is due to start sailing in summer 2022.

The line is due to release full information on Wednesday (May 12) and teased the announcment by confirming the ships’s deployment between December 2022 and September 2023.

From December 2022 to March 2023, Prima will operate five, seven and nine-night Western Caribbean itineraries from Orlando calling at Cozumel, George Town, Ocho Rios and private island Great Stirrup Cay.

From March to May it will offer five or seven-night cruises from New York to Bermuda.

And according to the NCL blog, it will then operate 10 and 11-night cruises from Reykjavik and Southampton for Northern Europe until September 2023.
