Revamp for second SeaDream ship as part of $10m investment

SeaDream Yacht Club is to revamp the second of its two sister ships as part of a project costing more than $10 million.

Work to SeaDream I is due to start on March 26 to mirror renovations made to SeaDream II completed this month.

The modernisation will cover all 56 cabins, including technology upgrades, wi-fi and 55-inch LED televisions.

Two new couples whirlpool baths will be added as well as two outdoor rain showers for cooling off after sunbathing as part of the upgrade.

The small ship luxury line’s president Andreas Brynestad said: “This project entails a total investment of more than $10 million and reflects SeaDream’s continued commitment to our guests’ comfort and optimal convenience.

“During these unprecedented times, as the travel industry navigates the Covid-19 pandemic, we have spared no expense in our mission to deliver an elevated guest experience.

“We believe the time is ripe to put our investment dollars toward the evolution of SeaDream yachting.”

He added: “The expression ‘yachting’ is not only a statement about size, it describes a lifestyle. SeaDream is evolving along with today’s luxury traveller, continuing our focus on attention to detail and the all-important impeccable service that defines yachting.”
