Exodus partners with explorer to showcase sustainability and adventures

Exodus Travels has partnered with explorer and TV presenter Aldo Kane to showcase the operator’s sustainability initiatives and adventures.

Kane will host consumer and media events for the adventure specialist and lead its Atlas Descent tour in March 2023.

The eight-day off-road cycling tour through Morocco’s Anti Atlas Mountains offers clients the chance to meet the local Berbers and see the blue rocks of Tafraoute, the walled town of Tiznit and mountain villages of Tiqqi Gorge.

Kane said: “Having recently returned from an epic expedition in Botswana with Exodus, it was clear to see they really are experts in what they do and have the most knowledgeable local guides leading the way.

“That, coupled with how much pride they take in ensuring their sustainable adventures give back far more to this planet and its ecosystems than they take, makes this partnership a natural choice for me.”

The Atlas Descent trip costs from £1,899 and includes all flights, accommodation, selected meals and airport transfers for group flights.

There are departures throughout in 2022 and 2023, and Kane will accompany the March 6 departure.

He has also curated The Aldo Kane Collection, featuring 12 of his favourite Exodus Travels tours.

They include Chimps & Gorillas of Uganda, Kilimanjaro Climb and the Annapurna Circuit.

Sam Seward, Exodus Travels’ managing director, said: “Our key pillar has always been responsible travel, so Aldo is a perfect fit.

“He has explored some of the most far-flung and remote places on the planet and is passionate about spotlighting local teams whilst caring for the surrounding environment.”
