Industry veterans launch travel fulfilment business

A B2B travel fulfilment business has joined the Advantage Travel Partnership, offering agents and operators services such as call centre support and training.

Tolle Fuga – which means ‘take flight’ in Latin – has become an Advantage Managed Service member.

As well as helping agents and operators, the company can also serve hotels, tourist boards and consumer brands.

It can offer access to the latest technology, telephony, full licensing, merchant services, an extensive product range including directly contracted content, training and a multilingual UK-based contact centre.

Tolle Fuga is owned and operated by Garry Winterburn, Kevin Coles and Lindsey Winterburn, who have extensive experience in the UK and globally.

Garry and Lindsey previously owned Contemporary Travel Solutions (CTS), a fulfilment business which was acquired in 2017 by Toronto-based Kognitiv Corporation.

Coles was previously travel managing director for Kognitiv, and before that he held director roles at Travel2, Travelbag and dnata.

Garry has also worked with Airtours, Hayes and Jarvis and Manchester airport, and was the co-founder and managing director at au logistics, which was acquired by BP marketing services in 2008.

Lindsey worked with ILG, Future Travel, Premier Travel, TV Travel Shop and Calls Online.

She said: “We believe the timing is right, now that travel restrictions have been loosened considerably and with the gap in the market from the acquisition of CTS.

“We are delighted to partner again with Advantage for certain aspects of our business. From our previous relationship we know that their agile support and hands-on approach is perfect for our diverse business.

“Their tenacity and professionalism have shone through throughout the pandemic which has enhanced their existing credibility, giving us and our partners the knowledge that we are in safe hands.”

Paul Nunn, operations director at Advantage Travel Partnership, added: “Our operational infrastructure makes us perfectly placed to support a diverse range of businesses within our Advantage Managed Service model.

“Having previously worked with Garry and Lindsey we were keen to partner with them again in what I’m sure will be an extremely successful new business.

“Our back-office support and trust model set up means that they can give their customers complete peace of mind and focus on growing the business.”
