Inspire opens call centre to provide ‘highest levels of service’

The Inspire Group has opened a new dedicated call centre to manage and increase sales across its portfolio of businesses.

The call centre is based at its HQ in Bramhall, Cheshire, manned by an eight-strong team, including the business’ first apprentice.

It is managing sales leads across the travel business, its Inspire Travel Gift Card, charity partners and clients it works through its salary sacrifice scheme and other promotional partnerships.

Managing director Lisa Henning said: “There are so many parts of our business that have workforces and onward relationships and partnerships that have travel needs, which we were keen to capture.

“The opening of this new call centre has allowed us to become a travel centre for these clients and in turn we have achieved a strong level of incremental sales.”

She said the centre was already answering calls within 30 seconds, with most of the centre’s team recruited from outside the travel industry.

She added: “The team has settled in really well and are already consistently achieving strong results.

“The volumes of sales we are now generating through this call centre continue to demonstrate that people want that human element when making their travel plans, and we are therefore investing in ensuring we can provide the highest levels of service, including the recent extension to the new call centre’s operational hours that see the call centre open until 8pm.”

The company announced the rebrand of its homeworking business to Inspire Travel Associates in October last year.
