Saga Travel recruits marketing director  

Hannah Fisher has joined over-50s specialist Saga Travel as marketing director, bringing with her more than 20 years of experience in marketing and digital developments.

She most recently worked for multinational media and digital marketing communications firm Dentsu International with clients such as Honda, Camelot and TSB.

Before that, she held senior marketing roles at More Than, Sky and Direct Line.

In the newly created role at Saga Travel, Fisher will be responsible for the development and delivery of the marketing strategy and will lead the implementation of greater digital capability.

Nick Stace, chief executive at Saga Travel, said: “Her excellent background with strong consumer brands will provide the strategic rigour to ensure that Saga leads the pack in both retaining current customers and attracting new ones.

“This is a critical time for the travel industry and we’re experiencing tremendous customer demand for cruise holidays, which has seen the early sailings already fully booked, so Hannah is joining us at a time of huge growth and opportunity.”

Fisher added: “Saga is a fantastic heritage brand with a strong legacy and a loyal customer base. I’m looking forward to helping drive the travel marketing transformation, focusing on customers, creativity and inspiring people to travel.”

Fisher is a mentor for Bloom UK, a professional network for women in communications, and in her spare time, she volunteers as an NHS first responder.
