Scenic unveils Japan and South Korea tours

All-inclusive operator Scenic has unveiled new land tours with the release of its 2021-22 Japan and South Korea escorted touring programme.

The Oriental Wonders of Japan & South Korea 2021-2022 brochure also includes the first Japanese cruise itineraries for Scenic Eclipse, the 228-passenger ‘discovery yacht’ which launched in 2019.

Two new land-based tours have been released: a 16-day Hidden Wonders of North Japan itinerary and a 12-Day The Soul of South Korea holiday.

The northern Japan itinerary includes a visit to the Zuigangi Temple – one of Tohoku’s most famous Zen temples – and a visit to Hirosaki Castle and botanical gardens. It costs from £9,525, based on the May 25, 2022, departure.

The South Korea tour features visits to Hyo Jae Cultural Hall, the Gamchon Culture Village and Taejongdae Park Rocky Cliff. It costs from £6,005, departing March 22, 2022.

The Scenic Eclipse cruises are Japan: A Journey Through Time, and Natural Wonders of Japan.

The 15-day Japan: A Journey Through Time cruise explores the west coast from Otaru to Kobe (Osaka). Prices start from £13,500, departing June 19, 2023.

Also lasting 15 days is Natural Wonders of Japan, which explores the eastern coast – visiting Tokyo and the island of Hokkaido. Prices start from £12,580, departing June 30, 2023.

To accompany the launch, Scenic is offering savings of up to £1,000 per couple, with free private door-to-door chauffeur-driven transfers also available on new land touring bookings made before June 30, 2021.

Prices include return flights, transfers and all excursions.
