CV Villas promotes Pete Brudenell to general manager

Luxury villa specialist CV Villas has promoted Pete Brudenell to the newly created role of general manager.

Brudenell has been with the company for more than three years and was formerly head of marketing, where he was responsible for the brand’s marketing projects and campaigns as well as media relations.

Prior to his role at CV Villas, Brudenell held marketing manager positions at British Airways Holidays, Kenwood Travel and James Villas Holidays. In his new role he will be responsible for overseeing the company’s operations.

He said: “I am delighted to have been promoted to this new position within CV Villas and to be given the opportunity to spearhead the company as we continue to grow.

“With our 50th anniversary celebration in full swing and the travel industry seeing a positive rebound, it is an exciting time to be stepping into this new role as I look forward to the challenges and opportunities this position will bring to the business.”

A statement from CV Villas added: “Since joining the company, CV Villas has been going from strength to strength through Pete’s dedication and leadership skills.

“From leading the rebrand of the business to spearheading [its] digital transformation project, Pete has from the start continuously delivered exciting new projects to the business and will ensure a seamless transition into his new role.

“At just 37, this is an incredible position to hold and a great achievement for such a young talent.”

CV Villas recently reported a 57% increase in growth versus the same period in 2019, with key destinations including Greece, Italy and the Caribbean performing well.

Trade bookings have also increased, reaching a record-breaking 52% for January 2022 compared to January 2019.

In November 2021, the company expanded its trade sales team with three new appointments [LINK] including Madeleine Hubble and Matthew Corcoran, who joined as villa specialists to offer guidance and advice to agent partners, and Emily Waters, who took on the newly created role of villa specialist support and concierge.
