Joanna Roberts has joined JG Travel Group from Newmarket Holidays in the newly-created role of head of product.
She moves after seven years as senior product manager at Newmarket Holidays, where she managed the operator’s Covid-19 ‘bounceback’ project.
Roberts previously held product management roles for Thomas Cook, Page and Moy and Solo’s Holidays in more than two decades of industry experience.
She will lead the product managers, the product support and the hotel contracts teams and help drive creativity and innovation across four brands, as the group continues with its growth plans.
Roberts will report to the JG Travel Group product and operations director Paul Mason, who said: “We are so pleased that Joanna is joining us as I know her extensive experience will be a huge asset to our business.
“This new role will further strengthen our product team and help us deliver our strategic goals.
“Our product offering has grown significantly since acquiring the National Holidays brand and Joanna’s appointment will allow us to drive our product development forward as we continue to create new and exciting experiences for agents to sell.”
