Oz Desai has been named in the newly-created role of managing director, Ireland, for travel management company FCM.
He was previously South Africa managing director for sister brand Corporate Traveller, steering the TMC in its post-pandemic recovery.
Dublin-based Desai will be responsible for the continued evolution of the company’s regional business across Ireland.
The appointment represents the first significant structural change made by new UK & Ireland managing director Andy Hegley since he took up the role in June.
Hegley described Desai as a pivotal appointment to his UK & Ireland executive team, indicating a renewed focus on FCM’s Irish operations.
He added: “Over the next year, FCM has set ambitious business growth goals that reflects our considerable investment in technology and services to provide the best possible experience for our customers.
