Trial date set for man accused of World Travel Lounge robberies

The man accused of two robberies at World Travel Lounge in Fleetwood, Lancashire, stands to face trial next spring.

Tim Daley, of Leven Avenue, Fleetwood, appeared by video link at Preston Crown Court today from Durham, where he is currently in prison.

He is charged with two counts of robbery and possessing a bladed article in a public place.

Three witnesses appeared at the pre-trial hearing in Preston.

A further pre-trial hearing is now scheduled for December 17, 2021, with a trial due to start on March 23, 2022.

The travel agency, on Lord Street in Fleetwood, was targeted on Tuesday September 21 and Wednesday September 22 – with cash stolen from the shop.
