AE Expeditions has unveiled its Antarctica 2027–28 season, featuring 34 voyages on its three purpose-built expedition ships: the Greg Mortimer, Sylvia Earle and Douglas Mawson.
The sailings will take clients to the Antarctic Peninsula, South Georgia, the Falkland Islands, the Weddell Sea, the Antarctic Circle and Patagonia.
The 2027–28 programme features a mix of classic expeditions, 10 ‘Special Edition’ voyages with photography and culinary themes, and four new or revived itineraries.
The new or revived itineraries include South Georgia & Antarctica: Through the Lens; a culinary-themed sailing called Antarctic Feast: Circle in Depth; Across the Antarctic Circle Fly the Drake; and Southern Antarctic Realms: Antarctic Circle & Weddell Sea – a “revived favourite” exploring the southern regions.
There are early booking discounts of up to 25%.
Michael Heath, chief executive at AE Expeditions, said: “Each voyage is crafted to inspire and transform, whether you’re crossing the Antarctic Circle, photographing penguins on South Georgia, or joining our world-class expedition team in citizen-science projects that make a real impact.”
