A&K to run first private jet tour covering seven continents

Abercrombie & Kent has released details of a 28-day private jet tour of seven continents costing more than £173,000.

The trip by a reconfigured Boeing 757 with just 50 seats in January 2028 covers the US, Brazil, the Antarctic, New Zealand, Australia. Vietnam, Egypt and Spain.

The luxury operator’s latest Private Jet itinerary follows a May Tropics to the Arctic itinerary that sold out almost straight away with almost 20 people on the waitlist.

Every passenger on the journey was a returning A&K customer, and nearly half had flown on an A&K Private Jet itinerary before.

“For a journey that takes six figures and four weeks to commit to, that level of repeat booking is unusual at any tier of the market,” the company said.

The 2028 tour on January 3-30 on an aircraft where every seat reclines into a lie-flat bed is the first to visit all seven continents in a single itinerary.

Fares start at £173,075 per passenger based on double occupancy.

The aircraft is equipped with iPads, noise-cancelling headphones, an espresso maker, and a dedicated cabin crew including an executive chef.

The configuration allows the aircraft to land at airfields not easily accessible via the major carriers, operating on A&K’s timetable rather than commercial airlines, according to the operator.

A&K Private Jet vice president Rami Girgis said: "Guests on our Private Jet program are not buying a flight. They are buying a year’s worth of access in 28 days.

“Most of the guests booked onto a Private Jet journey have travelled with A&K before, very often on a small group or a tailormade journey.

“They arrive already fluent in the way we travel, and what they tell us they want next is more ambition, more places that are difficult to combine and a group of likeminded travellers. Seven Continents is built for them.”
