Cyber security expert Jenny Radcliffe is the latest guest speaker confirmed for the Abta Travel Convention in Madeira.
Known as ‘The People Hacker’, Radcliffe has spent her career testing the security of organisations by bypassing systems through psychology, persuasion and social engineering.
She has spent a lifetime talking her way into secure locations, protecting clients from scammers, and leading simulated criminal assaults on organisations of all sizes in order to help secure money, data and information from malicious attacks.
Radcliffe will explore how the human side of security can be both a weak point and a strength for organisations.
In her session, she will discuss how the psychology of businesses, teams and individuals can be exploited by criminals to breach defences and gain access to systems, data, finance and personal information.
Promised to be an anecdote-driven, high-energy talk, she will expose human vulnerabilities and share practical steps individuals and companies can take to better protect themselves.
Abta said: “If the fear of a security breach – with the significant costs and reputational damage that would inevitably follow – is a concern for your business, this is a session not to be missed.”
The convention takes place in Funchal in Madeira on October 12-14.
