Explore Worldwide has added four new tours to its Upgraded collection, featuring Mexico, Nepal, Egypt and Morocco.
The additions come as the operator reports “strong growth” for the premium collection, launched two years ago to offer enhanced accommodation, special welcome meals and “standout” experiences.
So far in 2026, the number of Upgraded tours has grown by 35%, from 23 to 31, while departures have increased by 74%.
Explore Upgraded is on track to take as many passengers in 2026 as the operator’s cycling portfolio, making it a key performance area.
Michael Edwards, managing director of Explore Worldwide, said: “The performance of Explore Upgraded over its first two years demonstrates that travellers want the authenticity and sense of adventure that Explore is known for, alongside a little extra comfort.
“We have seen impressive growth across tours, departures, passengers and revenue, but the customer response is equally encouraging. An excellent NPS shows that we are delivering an exceptional experience that genuinely resonates with our travellers.”
Costa Rica is the collection’s best-performing destination, with other top-performing tours including Kerala to Goa, Vietnam & Angkor, Botswana, Peru, Walking the Algarve, India and Uzbekistan.
The Upgraded - Highlights of Mexico tour costs from £4,425 for 11 nights, while Upgraded - Highlights of Nepal starts from £2,195 for nine nights.
Upgraded – Egypt: Cairo, Alexandria & Nile Cruise is from £3,695 for 10 nights and Upgraded - Morocco: Imperial Cities, Mountains and the Sahara Desert costs from £3,395 for 14 nights.
Experiences for clients on the Morocco holiday include dinner with a local family in Chefchaouen (pictured).
