Fred Olsen Cruise Lines will feature in an episode of Channel 4’s six-part documentary series, Dover 24/7: Britain’s Busiest Port.
Airing on June 23 at 8pm, the fourth episode in the series will showcase crew operations on board Borealis on turnaround day.
To tie in with the series, which takes viewers behind the scenes at the port, the line will offer an additional £50 saving per booking on 2025 cruises from Dover, which will apply to all new bookings made between June 20 and 25.
Agents should apply the code “DOVER50” at the time of booking to receive the discount, which can be combined with other promotions.
Borealis will sail from Dover in June and July to the Norwegian fjords, Iceland, the Azores and Madeira.
Fred Olsen Cruise Lines head of brand Holly Goddard said: “We are thrilled to be involved in this fascinating series, which underlines the importance of the Port of Dover and the huge amount of work that goes into its day-to-day running.
“Aboard Borealis, viewers will be able to enjoy a rare glimpse behind the scenes as our crew carefully prepares the ship to welcome new guests.”
Port of Dover head of cruise Peter Wright added: “This prime-time TV episode, dedicated to Dover Cruise and one of our long-standing cruise lines, showcases the hard work, passion, and exceptional service from many different teams, to ensure hundreds of people experience a holiday of a lifetime.
“My thanks go to Fred Olsen Cruise Lines and their guests for partnering with us, and to our operations, security, and guest services teams for presenting the incredible activity and sights of a turnaround call and bustling three cruise ship day in Dover.”
