Three most knowledgeable cruise specialists have been selected by Inspire to support, mentor and inspire its community of Independent Travel Associates (ITAs).
Lorna Hardy, Darren Oomen and Ryan Anthoney have each been named cruise ambassadors, taking on a dedicated role to help their fellow homeworkers build confidence, deepen product knowledge and grow their cruise sales.
The appointments come as Inspire’s cruise business continues to expand and reflects a further investment in developing its homeworking team.
The ambassadors will introduce cruise training sessions to build product knowledge.
Inspire chief executive Lisa Henning said that the number of cruise ambassadors will be expanded later this year and similar initiatives are being considered in other areas of the business.
She added: "These three ambassadors weren’t chosen by chance. They were chosen because of their passion, knowledge, enthusiasm and, most importantly, their willingness to share what they know with others.
“They genuinely love cruise, and now they’ll be using that passion to help every one of our ITA team grow their confidence, their knowledge and, ultimately, their cruise sales.
"Creating these ambassador roles is all about adding value to every single ITA.
"We have an incredible amount of cruise knowledge within Inspire, and it makes perfect sense to share it so that everyone can benefit.
“Cruise is one of the most exciting, rewarding and fastest-growing areas of travel, and together we have a huge opportunity to make Inspire even stronger in this space.
“This programme is a further demonstration of our continued investment in both cruise and our team of Independent Travel Associates.”
