Perfect Getaways has secured marketing support from Jet2holidays to launch a self-employed homeworking division and appointed Natalie Singleton to lead the new business.
The independent agency, which operates retail stores across Cheshire, Merseyside and the Isle of Man, was selected for the operator’s ‘Scale Up Your Street’ initiative, which provides direct financial backing to help trade partners expand.
The £10,000 marketing investment will fund the launch and promotion of the new homeworking branch, operating as Perfect Getaways Travel Partners.
Singleton joins the agency in the newly created role of Head of Travel Partners to lead the division. She brings 28 years of industry experience across retail travel, tour operating and call centres, joining most recently from Not Just Travel.
Alan Cross, Director of Travel Agent Relationships at Jet2holidays, said: “We are delighted to see our ‘Scale Up Your Street’ campaign resulting in our travel agent partners expanding and evolving their businesses to give customers even more reasons to book through their local independent travel agent.
“It is a pleasure to work with Dave and Nicola from Perfect Getaways and be included in their exciting journey.”
Perfect Getaways owners Dave and Nicola Palmer said: “We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Natalie to Perfect Getaways. Her experience, enthusiasm and industry expertise are second to none, and we’re incredibly excited about what we’ll achieve together.
“Combined with the fantastic backing we’ve received from Jet2holidays, this marks an important milestone for our business – and we’re looking forward to working with Natalie to launch the most exciting and dynamic self-employed offering out there.”
Singleton added: “I’m delighted to be joining Perfect Getaways at such an exciting time. The business has ambitious plans for growth, and I can’t wait to work alongside the team, Dave and Nic, to help take the company to the next level.”
