Ryanair expects to carry a record number of passengers from UK airports this bank holiday weekend.
The no-frills carrier is set to handle 860,000 travellers from 22 airports across the country.
The record figures “demonstrate the continued strength of demand” for late-summer breaks.
A spokesperson said: “Over this summer bank holiday weekend, a record 860,000 Ryanair passengers will pass through our 22 UK airports, reflecting the strong demand for Ryanair’s unbeatable low fares, unrivalled route network, and industry-leading reliability.
“As families, friends and holidaymakers make the most of the long weekend, we look forward to welcoming them on board and delivering our busiest bank holiday weekend of the year across the UK.”
