Aberdeen International Airport has regained a summer seasonal service to Riga.
The route to the Latvian capital is being operated by airBaltic twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays until September.
Flights are operated by 149-passenger Airbus A220-300 aircraft with free high-speed SpaceX Starlink internet access.
The service provides onward connections to eastern Europe.
Airport operations director Robert Paterson said: "It’s fantastic to see airBaltic’s Riga service return to Aberdeen, and we are delighted to have marked the first departure of the season.
“This route provides valuable connectivity for both business and leisure travellers and strengthens our links with eastern Europe. We look forward to seeing strong demand across the summer months."
The airline’s network management vice president Mantas Vrubliauskas added: “We are pleased to return to Aberdeen and expand our network in the United Kingdom, improving access to Latvia as well as the wider Baltic region, Finland and Scandinavia.”
