Traveleyes, which pairs blind and sighted travellers, will resume full control of its holidays from September 26, following a three-year partnership with walking trips specialist HF Holidays.
The companies announced in October 2023 that they were joining forces, with HF Holidays running Traveleyes itineraries across the world from spring 2024.
In a statement, HF Holidays said it had “played a crucial role in re-establishing Traveleyes” and many HF Holidays colleagues joined Traveleyes trips.
“Now fully re-established, Traveleyes is ready to operate independently once again,” said the statement.
“From today (May 26), the company will manage and release all holidays departing from October 2026 onward.
“HF Holidays will continue to run trips scheduled up to the end of September to ensure a smooth transition for customers.”
Traveleyes founder Amar Latif said: “I’m deeply grateful to HF Holidays and their team for their dedication and passion over the past three years.
“Their support has helped create unforgettable experiences for our travellers. Traveleyes is now ready to build on this success, and HF Holidays will always remain a close friend.”
Chris Simmonds, HF Holidays chief executive, added: “It has been a privilege to help re-establish Traveleyes after the pandemic and now that it is operating successfully again, it is the right time to hand back the business so that they can take it from strength to strength.
“Being a cooperative, I know that our members will feel proud of the support that we have given to this worthwhile and meaningful travel business.
“HF Holidays and our members wish Amar and his team every success for the future.”
