Britannia forecasts disruption following crash in Gerona

BRITANNIA Airways expects disruption to some of its flights over the next few days following last week’s Boeing 757 crash in Spain.

As Travel Weekly went to press, a spokeswoman for the airline said planners were looking at timetables to minimise disruption as they seek replacement aircraft. She could not say which B757 routes would be affected, but the airline expects schedules to be back to normal by next week. Britannia and Spanish investigators are looking at the crash involving the ex-Cardiff flight at Gerona, Costa Brava, during a storm.
