‘Real opportunity’ for agents as more travellers get double-jabbed

Small group operator TruTravels is halving the cost of trips to Croatia and Greece following the relaxation of quarantine restrictions from amber list countries.

Mark Pope, co-founder of the G Adventures-owned brand, believes agents will play a bigger role than ever in helping young travellers lock in their next adventure.

The 50% price cut applies until September 15 and covers summer and autumn departures.

The deal covers sailing adventures in both countries with a revised lead-in of £447.50 for eight days’ island-hopping in Croatia excluding flights.

Pope said: “The introduction of no-quarantine from amber list countries for vaccinated travellers has given travel the boost it’s been needing in recent months and young travellers are more eager than ever to get back on the road.

“Many of our travellers are set to be ‘double-jabbed’ by the end of the summer and this new sale means they can lock in a European adventure to look forward to, while enjoying some serious savings.

“Many travellers are opting to stay closer to home in the short term and there’s a real opportunity for travel agents as travellers look to trusted experts for advice on where to go and when.

“Whether it’s on board one of our yachts in Croatia or island hopping in Greece, we cannot wait to welcome new and existing ‘Tru travellers’ back on the road.”
