Attraction World promotes Kelly Hayre to head of trade sales

Attraction World has promoted Kelly Hayre to the newly created role of head of trade sales, following her return from maternity leave.

She will lead the planning, development and implementation of the trade sales strategy for the B2B tours and attractions supplier.

Hayre joined Attraction World in March 2018 as key account manager north, working alongside Sarah Ashmore to develop the business with UK travel trade partners. Before Attraction World, she was a business development manager at Superbreak.

Justin Mahoney, chief operating officer, said: “Kelly is a true star within our industry.

“Our trade partners continue to be an incredibly important part of our business, and we look to invest further in the future in how we engage and support the trade.

“Kelly’s promotion is just the start of many new and exciting initiatives we are rolling out across our trade partners.”

She joins Phillipa Standley, head of product; Neil Langdon, head of marketing; and Vanessa Matthews, head of operations, on the leadership team.

Chief executive Olly Nicholls said the leadership team has been created over the past few months since Attraction World was acquired in June by Ten Oceans Private Equity for an undisclosed sum.

Hayre said: “I’m looking forward to working with all our amazing partners, along with Sarah, helping our mutual customers book the attractions and experiences in the destinations they visit.

“The opportunity as we come out of this pandemic is huge, and I can’t wait to help drive the recovery.”
