Princess Cruises wave campaign leads with £50 deposits

Princess Cruises has unveiled part of its wave campaign offering lower deposits of £50 per person instead of 15% of the cruise fare.

The promotion applies to 2,000 itineraries across all 17 ships in the fleet, including Sphere-class Star Princess which is due to enter service in September 2025.

The £50 per person deposit is available for bookings for all fare types made until March 3, 2025 as part of the ‘Come Aboard’ sale.

Prices start at £499 per person for a seven-night eastern Caribbean cruise on Sun Princess departing November 16, 2025.

Other lead-in fares include £549pp for a seven-night Alaska cruise on Grand Princess leaving on May 15, 2026, and £699pp for a seven-night Mediterranean cruise on Star Princess leaving on October 15, 2025.

In addition to the lower deposits, there are also up to £1,000 discounts available per cabin when booking a Sanctuary Collection suite, a Mini Suite or Balcony on Sphere-class ships Sun Princess or Star Princess.

This applies to 250 voyages in 2025 and 2026 in Alaska, the Caribbean, the Mediterranean, Panama Canal, plus transatlantic cruises.

Passengers can also benefit from a ‘best price guarantee’ for bookings between December 10 this year and December 15, 2025.

If a passenger finds a better fare on the Princess website for the same cruise, cabin category, or sail date before final payment, the line has committed to provide 120% of the difference in the form of onboard credit, up to $2,000 per person, booking or stateroom.

Princess Cruises will provide wave-focused webinars, booking incentives and social media giveaways to “help empower travel agents and generate excitement among clients”.
