Swan Hellenic opens sales for Antarctic cruises 2026-27

Swan Hellenic has opened bookings for 24 Antarctic cruises for 2026-27.

Vega and Diana, which accommodate 152 and 192 passengers respectively, will operate a range of nine to 13-night round-trip departures between them from their homeport of Ushuaia in Argentina.

There will be Christmas, New Year and Lunar New Year of the Horse celebrations on the line-up, with Vega combining Christmas and New Year into a 13-night cruise from December 22, 2026.

In addition to the round-trip cruises, Diana will sail a longer 20-night semi-circumnavigation South Atlantic Cruise from Cape Town, South Africa, to Ushuaia which will stop in Saint Helena, Ascension Island, Tristan da Cunha, the South Sandwich Islands and South Georgia Islands.

Swan Hellenic has also added expert-led snowshoeing expeditions to its excursions, which will be suitable for both beginners and those with previous experience.

Swan Hellenic chief commercial officer Patrizia Iantorno said: “We’re really excited about our new Antarctica offerings and the fantastic developments they introduce.

“From deep exploration of the Weddell Sea, one of the most pristine intact ecosystems on earth, to our new snowshoeing expeditions, they offer brilliant opportunities to see what others don’t on life-changing voyages exploring the world’s last great wilderness.”
