1. Tui Bahareya
After seeing strong sales for Tui Al Horeya, which launched last month, Tui River Cruises will add a second ship on the Nile, Tui Bahareya, in November 2025. The adult-only vessel will operate two round-trip routes from Luxor, stopping at the temples of Edfu and Kom Ombo, as well as Aswan.
Book it: The seven-night Ancient Gods and Famous Pharaohs itinerary on board Tui Bahareya (pictured) starts at £1,599 per person, based on two sharing a Superior French Balcony cabin on an all-inclusive basis. 2. Nile cruise with easyJet
Earlier this month, easyJet holidays’ first river cruise packages (in partnership with Jaz Cruises) took to the Nile. The embarkation and disembarkation times align with easyJet’s new flights to Luxor, so customers can step seamlessly off the plane and onto the ship for a week’s exploration of the Nile’s upper reaches. Excursions include the Valley of the Kings and the tomb of female pharaoh Hatshepsut.
Book it: EasyJet holidays’ seven-night full-board Nile Cruise leads in at £738 per person, based on two sharing. The price includes luggage, transfers and flights departing March 20, 2025.

3. AmaLilia
AmaLilia (pictured) joined sister ship AmaDahlia in the AmaWaterways fleet in April. Itineraries combine stays in Cairo with a sailing from Luxor. Onboard Egyptologists share their expertise about sites such as the Horus and Philae temples.
Book it: A Secrets of Egypt & the Nile sailing starts at £4,839 per person, based on two sharing a Window Stateroom on an all-inclusive basis. The price includes flights and transfers, departing June 9, 2025.

4. Egypt for solo travellers
Solo travellers, rejoice: Riviera Travel has added two solo departures to its Classic Egypt itinerary for 2026. Checking in to Cairo for a three-night stay, clients will take in the Pyramids, Sphinx and new Grand Egyptian Museum before jetting to Luxor and cruising through Dendera, Aswan and Luxor via the Temple of Karnak.
Book it: A 13-day Classic Egypt: Cairo, Luxor and Nile river cruise for solo travellers starts at £5,199, departing April 22, 2026. The price includes most meals, flights and transfers.

5. The Nile with Oberoi
Luxury hotel brand Oberoi has a roster of launches on the water next year, including two sailing ships due to debut in the second half of 2025. Melouk and Malekat are inspired by dahabiyya barges – a traditional boat that dates back to the time of the pharaohs – and each will transport 14 passengers between Luxor and Aswan. The vessels will feature an Oberoi spa and a plunge pool on the top deck for unfettered views of the river. Experiences will range from cooking classes to fishing sessions.
