1. Boat tours

There are more than 30 beaches and a multitude of coves to explore in and around Anguilla’s coast. With a snorkelling excursion, clients can set sail to experience the island’s unbridled beauty, both on the water and beneath it.

Make sure you recommend a stop at the two tiny islands of Prickly Pear Cays, home to some of the country’s clearest waters – perfect for spotting manta rays and schools of tropical fish.

2. Anguilla Summer Festival

This annual carnival, taking place from August 1-11, transforms the island into a colourful cultural celebration with street parties, music and the national sport, boat racing.

Don’t miss the Parade of Troupes, where performers don bright outfits and dance their way through capital city The Valley, plus the Eyes Wide Shut fete, which transforms Sandy Ground Field into a vibrant music festival.

3. Little Harbour Estates

Finding a secluded slice of paradise is easy at this collection of three private villas on Anguilla’s southeast coast. The recently revamped properties sleep between 16 and 22 guests, who can enjoy the services of a private chef and use of the five-star facilities, including in-villa spa treatments and fully equipped tennis courts. Villa Indigo is now available on a B&B basis, so guests can sample authentic Anguillan cuisine in local restaurants.

4. Cap Juluca Spa by Guerlain

This year, Belmond’s beautiful beachfront resort, Cap Juluca (below), is adding a spa to its impressive list of luxury amenities.

Drawing inspiration from Anguilla’s earliest inhabitants, the Arawak peoples who celebrated the rejuvenation of each new day, the spa will offer traditional and contemporary treatments to align guests with the atmosphere and culture of their surroundings.
