Comment: Season’s Greetings from Travel Weekly Group

So the time has come to wrap up at the Travel Weekly offices for another year, but not before my incredible team puts in a final shift on Christmas Eve.

It’s been a record year for us, with more than 4,000 pages published in the weekly magazine alone, and more than 2,000 stories on 250 of these Travel Weekly Business:am email alerts giving you the news and analysis you needed when you needed it.

Next year we have further plans to expand our portfolio, and with well over a thousand guests expected to attend our flagship Globe Travel Awards in January, we’ll be hitting the ground running.

It’s been a year of mixed fortunes for the industry, but there are high hopes for the peaks and in our first edition of the new year – due out on January 1 – there are some encouraging statistics to buoy the sector.

We’ll be keeping our website and social media ticking over the festive period, and you can expect your first Travel Weekly Business:am of the year to be with you on Friday, January 2.
